Yesterday I drove to Indianapolis for a bachelorette party. I was kind of worried about going because my doctor suggests not driving over 100 miles in your third trimester. I'm at 27 weeks so I'm just about there. It is not likely but it increases your chances for a blood clot and/or premature labor. She recommended I drink lots of water and stop every hour and walk around for about 15 minutes. LOL, ok well it's inevitable that if I drink lots of water I'm going to be stopping every 25 minutes! Which is what happen on the drive down...I drank a ton of water and therefore had to pee what felt like every few minutes. Luckily I had a really understanding friend who drove with me! The drive ended up turning out ok both to and from Indy. I got my own hotel room last night so that when the girls got back from the bars I wouldn't be woken up. Thank goodness I did - some were gone until 5 in the morning! I was able to spend the day with the girls and go to dinner. By the time dinner was done at 10 they walked me back to the hotel. Perfect for me. We also all got up and had brunch together which was really nice. I had high anxiety about the trip because I wouldn't be drinking or dancing but it turned out to be a great trip of bonding time with the girls!
